Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) film review
Jurassic World: Dominion is one of the most depressing images I've seen this year, and I've seen a fair amount of bad movies as an editor of film reviews. The Jurassic World: Dominion, the third entry in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth film in Jurassic Park as a series didn't live up to the hype. It was clear from the very beginning that this film wasn't going to be a hit.
Jurassic World, Dominion tells the exciting tale of dinosaurs, an unwelcome species that will eventually overtake the earth. The movie doesn't go for the bold notion of expanding the universe, instead, it confines the dinosaurs to a small park. However, this is only the first of many disappointed moments in the movie.
The film is not up to the high standards Jurassic World: Dominion sets. This is one of the most significant problems. Fans were promised not only an enjoyable conclusion to the Jurassic World series, but additionally, massive improvements. Furthermore, it was advertised as the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. Jurassic World, Dominion's storyline is a bit tangled and boring to the point where it's almost ridiculous. The film attempts to incorporate key characters from previous films without thinking about whether or not it makes sense. The story is told badly and incongruously as historical figures are reduced to nothing. This is a huge hole in the story's narrative. The running time of the film is so long that you'll end up wondering what all the drama was about after the titles begin.
Jurassic World: Dominion tries to keep the audience entertained by synchronizing two dull and unrelated plotlines, however it falls short. The film does not mention the Stegosaurus throughout despite the fact that it is evident. It leaves the viewers wondering why it was included.
While Jurassic World III was a superior film than Jurassic World III, Jurassic World III isn't an exceptional film. It's perhaps the most successful of the Jurassic Park series and is an impressive achievement considering the history of the series' weak storylines. If all else is completed, Jurassic World: Dominion is a complete, useless waste of time. It's a disappointment for new and longtime fans of the show, as well as an obvious indication that the Jurassic Park movies should have been pulled years ago.
If you're an avid Jurassic Park fan, this film isn't for your. Instead, you should see the original Jurassic Park film again, since it's generally believed that it's the most enjoyable of the bunch.
